Grief Support

We are there when you need us. When you experience a loss, Treasure Coast Hospice Grief Support counselors help adults, children and families in each of the communities we serve. Our counselors offer willing ears, an open heart and years of experience to help you find the tools you need to cope with grief and find hope and healing. We offer group, individual and family counseling and support.

Guidance comforts amid a loss

Some people benefit from group counseling while others find comfort from one-on-one counseling.

Treasure Coast Hospice Grief Support offers both.

The wide-ranging grief support program at Treasure Coast Hospice encompasses individual counseling, youth counseling, group counseling, and family counseling. When tragedy strikes a school setting or workplace, our counselors are there, offering direction, guidance and support to create a place of calm amidst the turmoil.

Grief counseling is available to all who grieve in Martin and St. Lucie counties, thanks to generous grants and community contributions. Donations are accepted, but no one is turned away from our places of hope and healing because of inability to pay.

Youth and Family Programs

We are aware of the special needs of children who have experienced loss, and we have a full continuum of support programs to help them heal. Each spring we offer Camp Good Grief for children who are in the process of coping with grief. It’s a time for pure kid fun and a comforting sense that no one is alone.

The holiday season can be an extremely difficult time for both children and families. Holiday Camp is dedicated to giving children and families the opportunity to heal during the season.

Family Camp is a program designed for families to learn coping skills together so they can begin to heal as a family.

Please contact us at 772-403-4530 or email Grief Support to ask about our children and family programs so our certified grief counselors can assist you and your family.
