Through the generous support of our community, the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation raises funds to support the mission of Treasure Health and the people our family of services care for, including Treasure Coast Hospice, our flagship program.
When faced with serious illness, the counseling Treasure Health offers is a great comfort to those who need it. Our donors make it possible to care for our patients with services such as palliative care counseling and individual or group grief support to help families manage these difficult personal issues.
For the youngest members in our care, we come together as a community of loving caregivers to offer children’s programs and experiences to help families build special moments during this difficult time.
These counseling services are not covered by insurance but mean a great deal to those we serve.
Many of our comprehensive care services are paid for through insurance. However, for those without insurance, the gifts of our donors make it possible for everyone to receive care regardless of ability to pay.
Donors to the Foundation make a difference today, and they help to foster and grow the programs and services of tomorrow.
We hope you’ll join us in our efforts to treasure life for every member of our community.
Your gift can come in many forms, such as leaving a legacy gift in your will, making a donation to honor someone you love, sponsoring a special event, supporting our thrift boutiques or contributing a gift outright to make sure that these programs that are essential to quality of life in Martin and St. Lucie counties can continue and grow.
To see how you can make a difference, call us at 772-403-4500 or email the Foundation.
Founding Friends, since 1982
Since 1982, the Founding Friends of Treasure Coast Hospice has been integral to the hospice mission, raising more than $3 million dollars to provide compassionate care to patients in our community.
Events such as a luau, a Mardi Gras celebration, Casino Night, Swing Fore Friends Golf Tournament, and an Afternoon Tea all have attracted financial support – as well as enduring friends – for Treasure Coast Hospice. Today, the 200-plus members of the Founding Friends continue to provide steadfast support and service to the organization.
The Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation honored the Founding Friends at the 2016 Thanks for Giving reception and dinner held at the Santa Lucia River Club in Port St. Lucie. The annual awards presentation recognized the Founding Friends and the extraordinary commitment that this group of volunteers has made to our organization through their financial contributions and by encouraging others to support our mission.
